Home Among the Gum Trees is a group that connects asylum seekers with people in rural communities.
The idea is to give the asylum seekers a much-needed holiday and a chance to connect with everyday Australians and the land. This summer, five Warrnambool families put up their hands to host a group from Sri Lanka.
