West is best for migrants: Brits, Kiwis top the list (The Australian)

WESTERN Australia has a higher proportion of migrants than any other state or territory, with more than one-third of its population born overseas.
New migration data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows the number of people here born overseas has climbed by 1.7 million to 6.4 million in the past decade. In June, 28 per cent of the Australian population was migrants, according to the ABS.
